The Journey

The journey begins where you want to start. It can be at any moment. We humans the incredible ability that separates us from all animals that allows us to coordinate our actions. When taking the first action of whatever you desire, never look back. Realize that the actions you just committed is before you and you can use it as a lesson tool. Actions that you commit in the present over a prolong period of time really shows growth. The plant can only grow as big as the pot it is in. You must be the mighty sequoia that is firmly planted in the ground ready to grow over time no matter what may come.

It's not about the desired results. You must find meaning in the task that you do and focus less on the desired outcome. The journey of life is your narration. You are responsible for the actions and reactions you send off. Let yourself bask in the present, analyze and lay to rest the past, and keep moving forward with humbility, knowing where you came from.

Until next time,

Wholeness and balance.

Gratitude

Practicing gratitude starts with appreciation for things that exist on Earth. Having a sense of appreciation for every person, every insect, every plant, every single matter, is key to progressing and moving forward. We all come from the same origin here on Earth; everything has its earthly purpose, it is your job to appreciate those purposes regardless of the circumstances or situation.

As you practice gratitude in this plane of existence, to the things around, you will notice that many of things that life has to offer provides an introspection and lesson for yourself.

You will learn to accept and be thankful for the situations that you experienced thus far, because they made you the person you are today. And if you want to change yourself, start practicing gratitude with yourself. Thank yourself for not giving up and actually wanting to change. Foster your seed of change. Water that seed with gratitude.

Body Language

To understand is to be understood, to listen is to be heard. When we communicate to each other it is a highway of information being shared back and forth. Not only through words, but of course our facial features and our body positions. Most of the communication is done by our face, it has less to do with the words we speak. Furthermore, the tone and pitch you have is less significant from the body language you carry around. Body language is often overlooked, however we take notice to it everyday. In order to be an effective communicator, you must master the art of body language.

Mastering body language takes time. It takes time because people usually do not think how their body is positioned while talking. They are more focused with what they want to say rather than the position they are in. To be an effective communicator you must notice the position of your body each time before you talk. If you are having a conversation with a good friend, you will not try to close yourself up, meaning crossing your arms, no direct eye contact, and not the slightest bit of facial features. No, when you talk to a good friend, you open up, you look at them directly, and you smile. As an emotionally driven creature, we communicate emotionally to others through our body. Taking notice to all the minute details of the body is to understand yourself and the other person. You must have understood yourself, before you can understand other people. Body language makes people understand you better and it makes them want to listen to you. Having a good body language is something we should all strive for, regardless of what job you may have. Communication knows no boundaries.

Technique to Control Thoughts

When we are alone a communication network goes on internally. Fundamentally, we act on flight or fight responses that make us either choose to fight the threat in front of you, or run away. Today, the threat of physical is much less prevalent than the threat of the internal. Internal warfare goes on in some each and everyday. We are constantly battling an unseen foe, that is- the future. You see, when we make a decision essentially as creature we always look towards the future; this is a gift and a curse from nature. We are the only species that is able to forecast into the future and plan ahead. This can either lead you to carry out your plans, or fall short of them.

Basically, the choices you make is a result of the physiological perspective your mind is holding at the time. In order to master the power of choice, you must first change your perspective about your thoughts. You must shift your perspective into thinking that your thoughts are coming from an outside source, much like how a radio receives radio waves.

Just like a radio you are allowed to scan through the many choices(stations) your mind has, when one sounds good, you leave at that. However, one must make a distinction between the thoughts they have and how they feel personally. By making this distinction we allowing ourselves to gain better control on our thoughts, realizing they are foreign from us and our core beliefs, resulting in better choices.

Face it

Face the situation that is troubling you with full force! Realize that time moves forward and a lot of the situations you've had in the past, stay there in the past. It is important to be confident and full of energy all the time. You make your past with each ticking second.

Do not doubt yourself, push yourself! Face the facts that someday we will all be long gone, all the hopes and dreams will be buried with you. Now is the time to do whatever you want.

Do not let any outside force dictate your happiness. Take control of your own life and do what you think best is for you. You already have a guess on what you might need to improve on, I'm only here to remind you of it. Now take that crucial first step and never look back!

Changing Attitudes and Behaviors

Begin with a sincere appreciation for the individual. Each person is unique with their own talents and specialty. Praise them for their accomplishments, or pointing out something special in them. The trick is to make them feel important and wanted.

Give them criticism indirectly. Wise people tell tales to make a point to an individual. They do not attack them directly. Humans make mistakes, but when one directly calls attention to their mistakes they often feel threatened.

One should criticize themselves first before they criticize others. This law has been taught in many books, including the bible which states, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?" It only makes sense to look inwardly to find mistakes within yourself, before you start to find mistakes in others.

Instead of ordering someone to do something, ask critical questions to make them go about a behavior you want them to do. No one likes to hear a person bark orders. One must speak from the other person's situation and ask significant questions that make them think of the right thing to do.

In every improvement praise them sincerely and wholeheartedly. A person builds on confidence given to them by others. It is a powerful tool to change a person's attitudes and behaviors. Praising them is not a simple "good job", it is reminding them why they do the things they do. Praise others for their improvement, you never know how often they hear it.

Be optimistic and to give encouragement. Situations happen in which one does not have control, it is important for you to sympathize and be optimistic about the situation. Make it seem easily manageable and could be taken down with ease. Make them feel excited to the things that you suggest. You are providing them a window of hope.

Reflection

One should practice a daily reflection of one's emotional attitudes and drive. Reflection is the process of looking inwardly are figuring out what exactly is causing specific things to happen to you. You must become your own critic. Keep a journal handy near your bed. Keep it only for your eyes, so that you may write carefree about the negativity you see in yourself and the improvements you can accomplish by creating solutions to your problems. Do it as you wake up, reflecting on the dreams you may have or the thoughts that appear to you in the morning. Later on before you go to bed reflect on the thoughts throughout the course of the day, in which you see the errors you may have made. It is highly important to do it during these contrasting points of the day, because it is when you are alone with your inner thoughts. This must be a daily practice over a long duration of time. This gives you the ability to reflect on the thoughts you had a month ago to either show that you have gained progress, or have failed to address better solutions to your situation.

Success builds on time. Structure the minutes of your day.

Wholeness and Balance to all.

Release

A person is constantly being tested during each situation. The ups and downs either create personal development of oneself or, the personal fears created by the individual. The observer is free to choose which one dominates one's mind. One cannot change the nature of life, and must deal with the actions one takes and the actions that the universe takes. We must understand that life is constantly changing, but if you have fear you won't like change. Life around you is constantly in your comfort zone. In this zone you do not have fear. Fear is something that we create internally. We constantly attempt to manipulate life to live in the comfort zone.

Fear is is produced in some people, because they are afraid of the outcome of the situation. Take the action you have been constantly thinking about. Fear is preventing you from reaching your true potential. When people are tested out of their comfort zone, they act nervously or try to run away from the situation. You must strike the barrier in your mind with your will and just act. You have everything to lose, and everything to gain. It is up to you to choose the path you take. Fear is constantly provoking you to take situations that you shouldn't. You fall victim to your fear, however, you must slay the fear inside your mind by being aware of the life around you. You must release to achieve your true potential.

Advance Mediation

It has been proven countless of times that practicing the art of mindfulness benefits you in extraordinary ways. From the latest science research to the ancient eastern teachings, meditation has helped balance people all around the world in a number of ways. How one mediates is all too important to having a successful mediation session.  Advance mediation is the proper body state, body alignment, sights, words, smells, and touch, depending on the level of state one is willing to achieve.

Researchers from University College London and Cambridge University have found evidence of a specialized mechanism in the human brain that takes in visual information about our body and triggers an instant, unconscious response. This means that how you observer the world, how you see your body, the brain automatically process the information, through these "hard-wired" systems.  In fact, the newly-discovered network triggers reactions even before the conscious brain has time to process them. A lot of times, when people get the most advance prosthetic limb, they still feel as if they are not coordinated enough, even when they practice numerous times, this information relates to this, because you have to have both the body information as well as the visual. The body works in unison, both consciously and unconsciously.

On a whole we can view this newly discovered information and apply it to our mediation. Advance mediation is the usefulness of all the bodily sense. From the sight, smells, feelings, sounds, and movement one could ultimately produce the euphoria which one seeks. What the evidence suggest is regardless if you are not fully aware of the movements in your body and visual system, it undermines your conscious, but still has a direct impact on you. Be cautious on how you mediate, one could have a wonderful long session, or one could have aimless short session. If you do it, do it with the utmost energy, filling in all your senses with radiant energy.

Wholeness and Balance to all.
